Salvatore Lombardi, MD | The Perinatal Group
Salvatore Lombardi, MD
Dr. Lombardi is Board Certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine. He is nationally recognized in the field of Perinatology, having published or presented over 150 scientific papers. He received his fellowship training in Maternal–Fetal Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he was co-founder of the CVS program and the first physician to perform chorionic villus sampling, both transcervical and transabdominal. He remained on the full-time academic faculty until 1992, receiving numerous awards, including the prestigious American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists Purdue Fredrick award for Excellence in Medical Research. Dr. Lombardi was one of the innovators in the field of Doppler ultrasound, presenting his work both nationally and internationally. He is published in the field of ultrasound and genetics and received the Outstanding Community Hospital Research Award for his work in the area of genetics at the 1994 meeting of the Society of Perinatal Obstetricians.

Kathleen Mayor-Lynn, MD | The Perinatal Group
Kathleen Mayor-Lynn, MD
Dr. Mayor-Lynn graduated with honors from the University of Florida, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences before pursuing her medical degree at the University of Miami School of Medicine. She remained in Miami for her internship and residency, where she was recognized with the Mary Jo O’Sullivan Award for Excellence in Obstetrics and the Special Excellence in Endoscopic Procedures Award, as well as numerous teaching honors. She went on to complete a fellowship in Maternal–Fetal Medicine and a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation at the University of Florida. Following her fellowship, Dr. Mayor-Lynn moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where she joined The Maternal Fetal Group, an affiliate of Obstetrix Medical Group, and served as Medical Director for Perinatology at Tristar Centennial Women’s Hospital in 2012. After four years with Obstetrix, she partnered with Dr. Salvatore Lombardi to establish The Perinatal Group, PLLC. Board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal–Fetal Medicine, Dr. Mayor-Lynn is an active member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine (SMFM), the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM), and the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG). She lives in Middle Tennessee with her husband and three children. Her clinical interests include prenatal diagnosis, ultrasound, fetal echocardiography, and hypertensive disorders of pregnancy.

Melanie Glover, MD | The Perinatal Group
Melanie Glover, MD
Dr. Glover is a native of Western Kentucky and is excited to return home to care for women and families in the community she knows best. She is passionate about providing the highest quality medical care while also individualizing treatment to meet each patient’s unique needs. Dr. Glover received her medical degree from the University of Kentucky and went on to complete her OB-GYN residency and Maternal–Fetal Medicine fellowship at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. For more than a decade, she cared for patients at a regional trauma center with a Level IIIC NICU, while also teaching and mentoring future OB-GYNs. Board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal–Fetal Medicine, Dr. Glover combines advanced expertise with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

Malorie Mann, MSN, APRN, FNP-C | The Perinatal Group
Malorie Mann, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Malorie is proud to call Kentucky home, where she began her journey in maternal and infant care through Western Kentucky University’s BSN program. She later earned her master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Northern Kentucky University. Her background includes extensive experience in adult medicine as well as obstetrics and neonatology, with training at the University of Kentucky Healthcare System, Kentucky Children’s Hospital in Lexington, and The Medical Center of Bowling Green. With this unique combination of expertise, Malorie provides specialized care for women whose pregnancies are affected by medical conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. She is a valued member of The Perinatal Group’s high-risk obstetric team. Outside of her professional life, Malorie enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and doting on her two dogs, Emma and Daisy.

Rachael Madu, MSN, APRN, FNP-C | The Perinatal Group
Rachael Madu, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Rachael is a compassionate and experienced healthcare professional with more than 14 years of nursing experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with distinction from East Tennessee State University in 2009, where she also served as vice president of her graduating class. Early in her career, Rachael worked at Centennial Women’s and Children’s Hospital, specializing in high-risk obstetrics, labor and delivery, and postpartum care. Her commitment to her patients was recognized in 2010 when she received the prestigious AWOHN Nurse of the Year Award. In 2018, Rachael advanced her training by earning her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Middle Tennessee State University. Today, she combines her clinical expertise with her passion for maternal health to provide comprehensive, individualized care to women throughout their reproductive journey.
