Meet Our Physicians
Salvatore Lombardi, M.D.
Salvatore J. Lombardi, M.D., is Board Certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine. He is nationally recognized in the field of Perinatology, having published or presented over 150 scientific papers. He received his fellowship training in Maternal–Fetal Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he was co-founder of the CVS program and the first physician to perform chorionic villus sampling both transcervical and transabdominal. He remained on the fulltime academic faculty until 1992, receiving numerous awards including the prestigious American College of Obstetricans and Gynecologists Purdue Fredrick award for Excellence in Medical Research. Dr. Lombardi was one of the innovators in the field of Doppler ultrasound, presenting his work both nationally and internationally. He is published in the field of ultrasound and genetics and received the Outstanding Community Hospital Research Award for his work in the area of genetics at the 1994 meeting of the Society of Perinatal Obstetricians.
In 1992, Dr. Lombardi founded the Maternal Fetal Group, which would grow to become the largest private practice provider of high risk Obstetric services in Middle Tennessee. Dr. Lombardi was instrumental in the development of the High Risk Obstetric Service at both Baptist and Centennial Women’s Hospital. He has had a long and distinguished military career having served in Operations Desert Shield / Storm / Noble Eagle / Southern Watch / Northern Watch / Deny Flight / Iraqi Freedom I, III and Enduring Freedom Afghanistan. He recently retired as Surgeon General for the Maryland National Guard. Highly decorated, his awards include the Legion of Merit, Air Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (5 oak leaf clusters), Aerial Achievement Medal, Air Assault Badge, Chief Flight Surgeon Wings and the Maryland Distinguished Service Cross.

Dr. Lombardi presently serves as Clinical Professor, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Kathleen Mayor-Lynn, M.D.
Dr. Kathleen Mayor-Lynn is a graduate of the University of Florida, where she received honors. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences. She received her medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. She remained in Miami for her internship and residency and was awarded the Mary Jo O’Sullivan award for excellence in Obstetrics as well as the special excellence in endoscopic procedures award. She received numerous teaching awards during her residency and fellowship. Dr. Mayor-Lynn completed her fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Masters of Science in Clinical investigation at the University of Florida.

Following completion of her fellowship, she moved to Nashville, TN where she joined The Maternal Fetal Group, an affiliate of Obstetrix Medical Group. She also served as the Medical Director for Perinatology at the Tristar Centennial Women’s Hospital for 2012. After 4 years with Obstetrix, she left to establish The Perinatal Group, PLLC with Dr. Salvatore Lombardi. She is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine and is an active member of ACOG, SMFM, AIUM, and ISUOG.
Dr. Mayor-Lynn lives in Middle Tennessee with her husband and three children. She has special interest in prenatal diagnosis, ultrasound, fetal echocardiography, and hypertensive disorders of pregnancy.

Tiffanee Lenzi, M.D., PhD
Dr. Lenzi brings to our practice of maternal fetal medicine added expertise in complex genetic issues. Dr. Lenzi received her Medical Degree as well as a PhD in Neuroscience from Wayne State University. She completed her OB-GYN Residency at Stanford University, and returned to the University of Michigan for her Maternal Fetal Medicine and Medical Genetics fellowships. We are excited to welcome her back “home.” Dr. Lenzi is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Maternal Fetal Medicine and Medical Genetics.

Melanie Glover, M.D.
Dr. Glover is a native of Western KY and is excited to return the region and join our practice. She is especially commited to providing the highest level of medical care while individualizing care based on each patient's unique medical and psychosocial needs.
Dr. Glover received her medical degree from the University of Kentucky. She completed her OB-Gyn residency as well as her Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. After graduation she worked 13 years in Dayton at a regional level 1 trauma center with a level IIIC NICU. During this time she also taught OB-Gyn residents as volunteer faculty for Wright State University. Dr. Glover is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine.​

Malorie Mann, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Malorie calls Kentucky home having begun her mother and infant nursing journey at Western Kentucky University's BSN program. She went on to complete her master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Northern Kentucky University. Malorie's experience in the diagnosis and management of adult medical conditions is accompanied by a broad experience in Obstetrics and Neonatology gained at the University of Kentucky Healthcare System, Kentucky Children's Hospital in Lexington and at The Medical Center of Bowling Green. Malorie is uniquely qualified to provide care to women with medical diagnoses affecting their pregnancies particularly diabetes and hypertension among others. She is an exceptional addition to the high-risk obstetric practice of The Perinatal Group.
Outside her professional life, Malorie values travel, spending time with family and spoiling her 2 dogs Emma and Daisy.
Rachael Madu, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Rachael is a dedicated and experienced healthcare professional with over 14 years of nursing experience. Her journey in providing exceptional care began when she obtained her BSN degree with distinction from East Tennessee State University in 2009, where she also served as the vice president of her graduating class.
Rachael's passion for maternal health led her to work at Centennial Women's and Children's Hospital, where she excelled as a Registered Nurse specializing in High Risk Obstetrics, Labor and Delivery, and Postpartum care. Her dedication and commitment to her patients were recognized when she received the prestigious AWOHN Nurse of the Year Award in 2010.
Continuing her pursuit of excellence, Rachael furthered her education by completing her master's degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Middle Tennessee State University in 2018. Her specialized knowledge and skills in this field enable her to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to expectant mothers.
Rachael's extensive experience, combined with her genuine passion for providing exceptional care, makes her an invaluable asset in the healthcare industry. Whether she is delivering personalized treatment to expectant mothers or supporting her patients through every stage of their reproductive journey, Rachael's dedication and expertise leave a lasting impact on those she serves.
